SAMPLE DATA — not real DK salaries. Salaries, projections, ownership, and lines in this NBA pool are placeholder estimates for testing the NBA mode.
Week 9 Main (11 games)
Sun Nov 8, 2026 · 11 games · 570-player pool · Salaries and injury statuses are the
real DraftKings numbers, pulled from your DK account Wed Nov 4 (draft group 155994,
the $500K Play-Action); injury designations are the Wednesday pull — Friday final reports and
Sunday inactives supersede them, so re-check before lock. Projections use DK's
FPPG as the baseline (no DK data → 0). Ownership is a salary-tier estimate, not a real
projection — treat Leverage as directional. Vegas lines (FanDuel Research + Covers +
multi-book board, pulled Nov 4) tilt projections via team implied totals — lines move,
re-check Sunday morning. Q players start at ×0.7 and IR/OUT players start excluded via the injury
toggles — flip anyone in the Players tab, then re-run.

Week 9 pool loaded. The player pool is now the real DraftKings Week 9 Sunday main slate — 11 games, 570 players, pulled from your DK account Wed Nov 4 (the $500K Play-Action draft group, 155994) — and the notes below apply to it. Atlanta, Baltimore, Buffalo, Chicago, Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, and Tennessee are not on this slate. Boom/bust scoring is active for covered players.
3-year player edge nflverse 2022–2024
CeeDee Lamb
24.5% boom20.8 avg · 12.2% bust
The elite CPT profile in the 3-year database: a 20.8 average with the lowest bust rate of any covered player. $8,300 at Indianapolis, with Dallas implied for 28.5 in a 51.5-total game.
Christian McCaffrey
35.1% boom22.6 avg · 10.8% bust
The highest boom rate and the highest average of any covered player — but he carries a Q tag in the Wed Nov 4 pull, so the sim starts him at ×0.7. $8,000 vs Las Vegas, with San Francisco implied for a slate-high 31.0. His Friday status is the slate's biggest swing.
Puka Nacua
28.6% boom19.3 avg · 28 gms
$8,800 at Washington with the Rams implied for 26.5. Davante Adams is on IR in this pull, which concentrates the target tree further — and Matthew Stafford carries a Q tag of his own.
Garrett Wilson
39.2% bust14.0 avg · 51 gms
The fragile-chalk profile: elite volume, but nearly 4 in 10 database games finished under 10 points — and the Jets are implied for just 18.5 at Kansas City in a 46.5-total game. He also carries a Q tag in this pull. $6,600 is a leverage spot, not a core lock.
The premier stack environment on the slate: the highest total and the highest team implied on the board. San Francisco's skill core prices off a 31.0 implied — with Christian McCaffrey's Q tag the one uncertainty hanging over it.
Lions at Dolphins
50.5 totalDET implied 28.75
Detroit's implied 28.75 is the slate's second-highest team total, on the road as 7-point favorites. Jahmyr Gibbs is the slate's top salary at $10,000, with Jared Goff at $6,600 and Amon-Ra St. Brown at $8,100.
Cowboys at Colts
51.5 totalDAL implied 28.5
The slate's second-highest total. Dallas is implied for 28.5 on the road; Dak Prescott is $6,500 with CeeDee Lamb at $8,300, and Jonathan Taylor anchors the other side at $7,500.
Low-total fades
NYG–PHI 39.5HOU–LAC 40.5
The two lowest totals on the slate — and both underdogs (the Giants and the Chargers) are implied for a slate-low 18.0. Passing stacks here fight the environment — the Vegas tilt in the sim already prices that in.

Questionable headliners
30 Q in the pool
Christian McCaffrey headlines it — the slate's biggest unresolved variable. Also flagged: Matthew Stafford at QB; Garrett Wilson, DeVonta Smith, and Christian Watson at WR; and Breece Hall at RB. Every Q starts at ×0.7 in the sim — the Sunday 8:45am gate makes the final call on each.
Out / IR
86 start excluded
Davante Adams (IR) and James Conner (IR) headline the 79 IR designations, with Brandon Aiyuk among the 7 marked OUT. The pull also carries Jalen Hurts and Jaxson Dart as IR — Wednesday flags, not the final word. All 86 start excluded via the injury toggles; one tap restores anyone who gets activated.
DK's team quirks — reproduced, not "fixed"
as pulled Wed Nov 4
This pull lists Kenneth Walker III on Kansas City ($9,000, vs the Jets), Mike Evans on San Francisco, and A.J. Brown on New England — DK's own team mapping, carried into the pool exactly as pulled so the ID-based CSV export still validates against DK's slate. If DK corrects the teams before lock, the pool needs a re-pull.

Weather
no forecast baked in
No Week 9 weather is in the sim yet. The Games tab accepts sustained wind, gusts, and rain per game: 15+ mph cuts QB/WR/TE projections 10%, 25+ mph gusts 15%. Pull forecasts Sunday morning for the outdoor games (Washington, Carolina, Kansas City, Miami, San Francisco, New England, Philadelphia, Seattle).

Spread watch
SEA −11.5
Seattle is the slate's only double-digit favorite; San Francisco and Kansas City are next at −9.5. Confirm final lines in the DraftKings app before lock.

How the model works
Sim draw:score = max(0, proj_eff × (1 + σ_pos × z)), z ~ standard normal. Variance σ by position: QB 0.32 · RB 0.38 · WR 0.45 · TE 0.45 · DST 0.55. Injury adjustments: Questionable ×0.7 · Out = removed from pool. Weather: session-entered sustained wind of 15+ mph applies ×0.90 to QB/WR/TE; gusts of 25+ mph apply ×0.85 instead. Rain is flagged for review without an invented automatic penalty. Stack correlation: each pass-catcher is scaled by
1 + 0.35 × correlation_weight × (qb_draw − qb_proj)/qb_proj, clamped to [0.4, 2.2]. Model settings: Results Range and Simulation Range scale player-outcome variance. Projection Weight adds preference for raw projection; Ownership Weight follows the contest field (leverage in large fields, a milder blend in small fields, chalk in single entry); Upside Weight rewards simulated outcomes above projection. Chase 3-year upside rewards verified 25+ point rates and penalizes sub-10 rates for covered players; missing players remain neutral. All settings feed the next run. Optimizer (per sim): greedy fill of QB/RB×2/WR×3/TE/FLEX/DST under the $50K cap —
picks the best jittered draw that leaves a feasible cap completion, then 15 random
single-swap improvements. Win rate: share of sims in which a lineup was the optimizer's best build. Sets mode: the highest-win-rate lineup becomes the core; the remaining entries are deliberate
2-for-2 and 3-for-3 swaps branching off it. Every incoming player is eligible for the vacated slot, the swap
stays under the cap, and locks, fades, injury statuses, and the active stack all still hold. Incoming players
are ranked by sim exposure, variants alternate 2v2 and 3v3 and are deduplicated against the core and each
other, and any shortfall is filled with the next-best independent sim lineups. Copy and the DK CSV export
exactly the set shown — one portfolio built around a single core read, instead of unrelated lineups. Scoring:DK NFL: 1 PPR, 1 pt / 10 rush-rec yds, 1 pt / 25 pass yds, bonuses at 100/300 yds Exposure: share of sims a player appeared in the optimal lineup. Vegas tilt: each team's implied total comes from the line —
impl = total/2 ± spread/2 (FanDuel Research + Covers + multi-book board, pulled Nov 4; lines move, re-check Sunday).
Player projection is multiplied by
1 + 0.5 × (team_impl − slate_avg) / slate_avg, clamped to [0.85, 1.15];
DSTs use the inverted opponent-implied version. The FPPG baseline is opponent-blind,
so this is a deliberate half-weight nudge toward scoring environment, not a re-projection. Game scripts: five scenarios per game (blowout / shootout / close / slugfest / upset) with
probabilities from a normal model (margin SD 13.5, total SD 13.0). Per-scenario player multipliers are
fixed heuristics (e.g. shootout: pass-catchers ×1.15, DSTs ×0.75) — useful for thinking about game
flow, not predictions. Scenario odds aren't mutually exclusive. Locks, fades, and stacks: locked players stay in every lineup; faded players are removed; a selected 2-man or 3-man team stack requires that team's QB plus one or two linked pass-catchers. Impossible combinations return a clear error. Session runs: every sim is kept in memory while this page stays open (max 20; rapid re-runs coalesce).
The History tab reloads a run's lineups, controls, and exposures, and diffs two runs' exposures. Limits: projections are DK FPPG baselines from the Nov 4 pull — a starting
point, not a full projection model — and ownership is a salary-tier estimate rather than a real projection, so treat leverage as directional. Statuses are DK's as of the pull; re-check inactives
Sunday and re-run after toggling.
